British Queen celebrates

During a visit to the venue in Liverpool, King Charles and his wife Camilla revealed the stage for the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest, which will be held in the city next

month. The couple also met with Britain's entry, Mae Muller, and participated in a recording for the children's TV show, Blue Peter.

Expressing their excitement for the upcoming event, King Charles told Muller, "We'll be watching with great interest, egging you on." Liverpool was chosen to host the competition on behalf of Ukraine, last year's winner, who was unable to stage the event due to the Russian invasion.

At the unveiling of the competition stage, Charles and Camilla initiated a series of colorful dancing stage lights and a pulsating beat by pressing a large pink button, following a countdown by onlookers.

May promises to be an eventful month for Britain, with the formal coronation ceremony for King Charles taking place at Westminster Abbey on May 6th, and a concert the following day at Windsor Castle.

In February, the British government announced that 3,000 tickets for the Eurovision Song Contest would be made available to displaced Ukrainians, with £10 million ($12.47 million) of funding to help host the event.
