British Queen celebrates

 

The largest collection of original Banksy artworks is set to make its debut in London's Soho, featuring over 150 pieces from the enigmatic Bristol-based artist. Opening at 100 Charing

Cross Road on April 11th, "The Art of Banksy" exhibition will showcase iconic pieces like Dismaland alongside recent works addressing the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

Although not sanctioned by the artist, the exhibition has previously toured globally, making stops in cities such as Auckland, Boston, Chicago, and Sydney. Now landing in Soho, curator and producer Michel Boersma expressed excitement about the venue, calling it the perfect location for a Banksy showcase.

The new location on Charing Cross Road promises to offer an enhanced experience with additional audio and visual elements, a café, and a museum shop. Visitors can expect to see well-known pieces like the Flower Thrower and Girl With Balloon, as well as the debut of Banksy's reimagined Mona Lisa, which was originally acquired by a Hollywood A-lister in 2003 and returned to the artist in 2022 for further development.
