On Sunday, April 21, 2024, RAF Typhoons conducted a strike on a rocket launcher in northwest Iraq as part of Operation Shader. The mission, conducted in coordination with the global
coalition, involved routine patrols over Syria and Iraq. During the patrol, rockets were detected being launched against coalition forces in northwest Iraq.
