British Queen celebrates

This Sunday, April 21st, London will be abuzz with the vibrant celebrations of St. George's Day, offering a delightful array of free, family-friendly entertainment at Trafalgar Square.

Helmed by the spirited Harley Moon Kemp, the festivities promise an eclectic mix of live music, entertainment, and an enticing selection of food stalls to tantalize the senses.

From noon until 6 pm, the main stage will come alive with captivating performances by The Kurfew, Natalie Shay from Busk in London, the dynamic West End Kids, and the foot-stomping Snottledogs. Additionally, Folkdance Remixed will orchestrate a mass barn dance, infusing the square with infectious energy.

Attendees can anticipate the soulful melodies of She’s Got Brass, the enchanting tunes of Nick Howe and the Stringbeats Trio, and the irresistible charm of Tom Carradine leading a spirited cockney sing-a-long.

Families will delight in an assortment of engaging activities, including the English Pentathlon featuring competitive events such as welly wanging and pancake tossing, as well as whimsical pursuits like the bubble Olympics and the art of Morris Dancing. Moreover, there will be delightful encounters with Pearly Kings and Queens, along with the opportunity to snap selfies with the iconic figures of St. George and the dragon.

The culinary offerings promise to be as diverse as they are delectable, with a myriad of food and drink stalls offering everything from traditional fish and chips to tantalizing churros. Visitors can embark on a culinary journey spanning the globe, with flavors from Korea, Thailand, Bombay, Greece, and Germany awaiting discovery.
