British Queen celebrates

King Charles has conveyed his congratulations to North Korea in honor of the nation's 75th annual founding celebration. His Majesty's well-wishes for North Korea's future were transmitted

through the North Korean Embassy in London, following the advice of the Foreign Office.

Despite concerns regarding the totalitarian regime's weapons testing programs and human rights violations, Britain maintains a policy of encouraging North Korea to engage with the international community through meaningful dialogue.

This gesture echoes a similar acknowledgment in 2021 when Queen Elizabeth II was advised by officials to recognize North Korea's national celebration. Buckingham Palace clarified that it is customary for monarchs to acknowledge national days worldwide.

Additionally, on the counsel of Whitehall, the North Korean head of mission received an invitation to King Charles' coronation in May and the late Queen's funeral.

In his inaugural message to the country, King Charles conveyed, "As the people of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea celebrate their National Day, I send my good wishes for the future."

This message was reported by the state-run newspaper KCNA.
