Cllr Grace Williams, London Councils’ Executive Member for Housing & Regeneration, said: “Our thoughts remain with the families of those who died in the Grenfell Tower fire, the survivors,

and the wider community. 

“The fire shook London to its core. Eight years on, the impact is still felt deeply and we must ensure such a tragedy never happens again. Every Londoner needs to be safe – and feel safe – in their home.

“Since Grenfell, Boroughs have worked hard to improve building safety and housing standards. Following the publication of the Grenfell Tower Inquiry’s final report last year, we are working with the government and other partners to implement further change.”
