British Queen celebrates

Oxford University students were seen making their way home this morning after attending the highly anticipated Commemoration Ball at Magdalen College. Dressed in elegant ball gowns and

white tie attire, they strolled and cycled through the streets of Oxford following a night of enchantment at the 565-year-old college.

The Narnia-themed event, priced at £235 per ticket, took place last night within the magnificent grounds of Magdalen College. Students were treated to a captivating "night of woodland revelry" and were encouraged to embrace the occasion by adorning their finest white tie outfits and venturing through the metaphorical wardrobe.

Today, the students could be seen navigating the historic streets of Oxford, weary but content, after the festivities that lasted until 5 am. The event marked the first time in seven years that Magdalen College hosted such a grand celebration.

The Commemoration Ball provided an open bar and featured live performances by talented musicians, creating an immersive experience for all attendees within the college grounds. Founded in 1458, Magdalen College is one of Oxford University's esteemed constituent colleges, boasting a picturesque setting adjacent to the River Cherwell, complete with a deer park and a tower dating back over 500 years.

Commemoration balls are a cherished tradition held by Oxford colleges during the final term of each academic year. After the unfortunate cancellation of an event in 2019, Magdalen College's successful revival of the ball this year marked a significant moment for students and the college community.
